Maritime Trainee Program
We encourage graduates apply to the maritime trainee program arranged by the Norwegian Shipowner’s Association. We consider this an ideal way to launch you maritime career, and several of our colleagues started their career in this program.
The program is structured to optimize the learning of the trainees, and trainees have the opportunity to try out within different business segments of the company they are employed in. As a trainee, you are an employee of Höegh LNG from day one. The trainees are invited to seminars in Norway and abroad, arranged by the Norwegian Shipowner’s Association, where they share experiences with other trainees and participate in learning seminars. During the trainee period, the candidate is engaged in a mentor/protégé relationship with one of our senior staff members. The program ensures that you learn many aspects of our business and the shipping sector. Moreover, the candidates have the opportunity to create an extensive professional network within the industry.
Summer Internships
Höegh LNG’s summer internships are aimed at students who have completed at least two years of studies. We do not have fixed programs, and positions will vary from year to year with the requirements of the business areas.
A summer internship with us gives you the chance to work on topics relating to your studies at the same time as familiarizing yourself with shipping and the offshore industry, as well as Höegh LNG as an organisation. You will have the opportunity to learn and work together with industry experts and knowledgeable professionals.
Bachelor/Masters Projects
At Höegh LNG we innovate to stay competitive. As a part of our efforts find new solutions and stay innovative, we want to come in contact with students working on projects exploring aspects related to our business areas. Diligent and creative students are welcome to apply for our Bachelor/Master thesis cooperation program.
